Minoritized racial, ethnic, sexual, and gender communities and populations face profound health disparities and their engagement in research remains low. In a randomized controlled trial, our community-based participatory research partnership tested the efficacy of ChiCAS, an HIV prevention intervention designed to increase pre-exposure prophylaxis use among Spanish-speaking transgender Latinas. Of 161 eligible Spanish-speaking transgender Latinas screened, we enrolled 144, achieving an 89% participation rate, and retained 94% at 6-month follow-up.

Introduction: The present research examined whether Black and Latine adolescents' academic persistence could be promoted through two novel strength-based reflection activities, providing them an opportunity to experience a sense of school belonging and to form meaningful connections between their racial/ethnic identity and their ideal future identity they aspired for.
Methods: A randomized-controlled experiment was conducted in the U.S.

Cyclic peptides (CPs) are versatile building blocks whose conformational constraints foster ordered supramolecular architectures with potential in biomedicine, nanoelectronics, and catalysis. Herein, we report the development of biomimetic antifreeze materials by conjugating CPs bearing ice-binding residues to 4-arm polyethylene glycol (PEG) via click chemistry. The concentration-dependent self-assembly of these CP-PEG conjugates induces programmable morphological transitions, forming nanotube networks above the critical aggregation concentration (CAC) and two-dimensional nanosheet networks near the CAC.

Introduction: As healthcare organizations strive to improve the quality and safety of their services, there is growing recognition of the importance of fostering a patient safety culture to enhance patient safety and improve patient care outcomes. This study aims to evaluate healthcare professionals' perceptions of patient safety culture in accredited vs nonaccredited hospitals within a network of 68 hospitals in Brazil.
Methods: This cross-sectional, multicenter study included 68 hospitals from a private network.
