In this position paper, the authors support with recent behavioral findings the theory of internal simulations during motor imagery, initiated in the 90's. In this commentary, I will provide additional evidence from other research groups to support this theory and discuss the neurophysiological basis of inhibition (surround inhibition, inhibition within the primary cortex) and internal models (including the cerebellum).

Objective: This study applied the Theoretical Domains Framework (TDF) to explore the barriers and enablers to optimizing post-operative pain management and supporting safe opioid use from the perspectives of both patients and health care professionals, applying the Theoretical Domains Framework (TDF).
Design: Experience-based co-design (EBCD) qualitative study.
Methods: In the initial phase of the EBCD approach, focus groups were conducted comprising 20 participants, including 8 patients and 12 health care professionals involved in post-operative care.

The mechanical properties of cells are crucial for elucidating various physiological and pathological processes. Cells are found to exhibit a universal power-law rheological behavior at low frequencies. While they behave in a different manner at high frequency regimes, which leaves the transition region largely unexplored.

The effect of recurrent seizures on the gradual deterioration of the white matter structural network and the potential molecular mechanisms that underlie the baseline and longitudinal changes in network topology in temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) remain unclear. Therefore, we used diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) scans and neuropsychiatric assessments for 28 patients with unilateral TLE at baseline and follow-up, and for 28 healthy controls (HC). The topological properties of the structural network were calculated using graph theoretical analyses.

Introduction: Microencapsulated pyraclostrobin (PYR-CS) has gained widespread adoption in agriculture owing to its extended efficacy and reduced risks for non-target organisms. However, knowledge remains limited regarding its degradation in soil and effects on soil microorganisms.
Objectives: This study investigates the hypothesis that microencapsulation alters pyraclostrobin degradation and reshapes soil microbial communities compared with conventional formulations, including emulsifiable concentrate (PYR-EC) and technical material (PYR-TC).

Neural tracking, the alignment of brain activity with the temporal dynamics of sensory input, is a crucial mechanism underlying perception, attention, and cognition. While this concept has gained prominence in research on speech, music, and visual processing, its definition and methodological approaches remain heterogeneous. This paper critically examines neural tracking from both theoretical and methodological perspectives, highlighting how its interpretation varies across studies.
