Objective: Our objective was to determine the long-term outcomes of concomitant tricuspid valve procedures (TVP) during continuous-flow left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients who received HeartMate II or 3 from 2004 to 2023. Nine patients who had a previous TVP were excluded.

Introduction And Importance: One of the risk factors linked to mortality in Fournier Gangrene (FG) is the elderly. When this risk is present and diagnosed too late, patient care may become difficult. This case report discusses the treatment of an older patient with late-diagnosed Fournier's gangrene and its consequences in this background.

Anhedonia is increasingly recognized as a transdiagnostic risk factor for psychopathology. New evidence demonstrates that anhedonia is present in infancy and early childhood. Structural variability in striatal regions involved in reward processing and pleasure seeking is concurrently linked to anhedonia, yet few studies have examined whether striatal differences presage anhedonia, and none have examined prospective associations before middle childhood.

The association between ischemic stroke (IS) and malignancy is well established. Cancer-related strokes are predominantly embolic and classified as embolic strokes of undetermined source (ESUS). While malignancy-associated coagulopathy represents the primary pathogenic mechanism, neoplastic embolization of circulating tumor cells is another potential etiology, particularly in cases of cardiac and pulmonary malignancies.

Background: Trauma-related acute myocardial infarction represents a complex and high-risk condition in the emergency department, necessitating a range of sophisticated treatment strategies. Failure to provide timely and accurate intervention significantly increases the risk of short-term mortality.
Case Summary: We present the case of a 36-year-old male who was admitted to local hospital following a penetrating chest trauma.
