A 41-year-old female patient sought medical attention due to a malunited distal radius fracture with a positive ulnar variance, experiencing wrist pain and limited range of motion. The patient was successfully treated with an isolated ulnar osteotomy and bone grafting, resulting in significant alleviation of symptoms and improved wrist mobility. Various surgical methods have been proposed to address malunited radius fractures, and ulnar osteotomy has shown promise as an effective technique for such cases.

Madelung deformity is a hemi-epiphyseal dysplasia of the radioulnar axis. The prominent feature is radial deformity secondary to premature closure of the volar-ulnar side of the distal radial physics. The distal radius is malaligned with excessive ulnar and volar tilt, shortening and concomitant ulna plus deformity.

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the rate of conversion to total elbow arthroplasty (TEA) following open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) with olecranon osteotomy for intraarticular distal humerus fractures.
Methods: This retrospective case series included adult patients who underwent ORIF with olecranon osteotomy for AO/OTA 13C distal humerus fractures between January 2010 and April 2024 at two academic level 1 trauma centers. The primary outcome was the rate of conversion to TEA.

Introduction: Cubitus varus deformity, a common late complication of pediatric supracondylar fractures, is often viewed as cosmetic but can lead to functional issues such as tardy ulnar nerve palsy (TUNP). While both conditions have been studied individually, the literature addressing their coexistence and the optimal surgical approach is limited.
Method: This study investigates functional and electrophysiological outcomes in patients with concurrent cubitus varus and TUNP who underwent tailored surgical treatment.

Lunotriquetral ligament injuries are infrequent and less well understood than the more commonly injured scapholunate ligament and represent a continuum of injuries from degenerative tears to total dissociation. Diagnosis can be elusive because only severe injuries with associated extrinsic ligament injury result in visible radiographic changes. The entire spectrum of injury can cause disabling pain and wrist dysfunction.

Background: Medial-approach derotational humeral osteotomy is indicated in patients with brachial plexus birth palsy (BPBP) who have internal rotation contracture, a condition that substantially limits upper-extremity function and creates cosmetic concerns as a result of excessive internal rotation. This procedure enhances the range of motion of the arm by surgically externally rotating the humerus, thereby facilitating essential activities such as bringing the hand to the mouth and neck without the need for compensatory movements. In addition, the medial approach offers cosmetic benefits; the incision along the inner arm is less conspicuous than those of traditional lateral approaches.
