Background: Voice training (VT) aids patients in achieving or restoring physiological harmony among the vocal organs and in correcting the faulty conditioned reflexes induced by benign vocal cord lesions (BVLs). Herein, we designed a systematic review and meta-analysis for the first time to evaluate the effect of VT on BVLs after surgery based on several outcomes.

Methods: Four electronic databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and Cochrane Library) and 3 Chinese databases (CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang) were searched through September 26, 2024, without any restrictions.

Background: The prevention of health goods smuggling requires the involvement of stakeholders from various sectors, including the executive, judicial, and legislative bodies. This may increase numerous challenges in designing, formulating, implementing, and evaluating any corrective interventions. The aim of this study is therefore to identify and analyze the network of stakeholders and actors having a likely voice and part in preventing the smuggling of health goods (PSHG) in Iran.

Objective: The increasing use of audio-video (AV) data in healthcare has improved patient care, clinical training, and medical and ethnographic research. However, it has also introduced major challenges in preserving patient-provider privacy due to Protected Health Information (PHI) in such data. Traditional de-identification methods are inadequate for AV data, which can reveal identifiable information such as faces, voices, and environmental details.

Objective: Dysphagia is common among elderly patients after hip fracture surgery and can lead to aspiration pneumonia, malnutrition, and delayed rehabilitation. This study aims to present current clinical practice patterns of assessment and intervention for dysphagia in this patient group.

Methods: The study was conducted through a two-round online questionnaire targeting Danish occupational therapists with expertise in dysphagia post hip fracture.
