This paper demonstrates how optimal policy learning can inform the targeted allocation of Indonesia's two subsidized health insurance programmes. Using national survey data, we develop policy rules aimed at minimizing "catastrophic health expenditure" among enrollees of APBD or APBN, the two government-funded schemes. Employing a super learner ensemble approach, we use regression and machine learning methods of varying complexity to estimate conditional average treatment effects and construct policy rules to optimize program benefits, both with and without budget constraints.

Gene therapy has revolutionized the therapeutic landscape for hemophilia A and B, offering the prospect for persistent endogenous production of coagulation factors VIII and IX. Recent advances in adeno-associated virus (AAV)-mediated gene transfer, particularly the approvals of valoctocogene roxaparvovec (Roctavian) and etranacogene dezaparvovec (Hemgenix), mark significant milestones in hemophilia care. This mini-review synthesizes emerging clinical data from phase I-III trials published between 2022 and 2025, emphasizing efficacy, durability, and immunogenicity profiles of leading AAV-based therapies.

Introduction And Aims: Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming dental care by enhancing diagnostic accuracy, efficiency, and patient experience. This study aimed to assess dental patients' acceptance, perceptions, and concerns regarding AI-powered diagnosis using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) framework through structural equation modelling (SEM).
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among dental patients at King Saud University Dental Hospital, Riyadh.

Structural inequities significantly shape disparities across the HIV care continuum, yet few validated tools exist to quantify HIV-specific structural vulnerability at the population level in the United States. This study introduces and validates the HIV-Specific Social and Structural Determinants of Health Index (HIV-SSDI), a multi-dimensional, state-level index designed to capture structural disadvantage relevant to HIV prevention and care. Using publicly available state-level index (2008-2023) spanning nine structural domains, we developed the HIV-SSDI through exploratory factor analysis with three extraction methods: principal component analysis, maximum likelihood, and minimum residual.

Introduction: Observational studies play a pivotal role in understanding population health trends and informing public health policy. However, many such studies inadequately address dimensions of health inequality, potentially perpetuating existing disparities. There is currently no comprehensive overview of frameworks specifically designed to integrate health-inequality constructs into observational public health research.
