The rejoining of oracle bone rubbings is a fundamental topic in oracle bone inscriptions (OBIs) research. However, the traditional oracle bone (OB) rejoining methods are not only time-consuming and laborious but difficult to apply to large-scale OB rejoining. We proposed a simple OB rejoining model (SFF-Siam) to handle this challenge. First, the similarity feature fusion (SFF) module is designed to combine two inputs and make them relate to each other, then a backbone feature extraction network is used to evaluate the similarity between inputs, and the forward feedback network outputs the probability that two OB fragments can be rejoined. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the SFF-Siam achieved a good effect in OB rejoining. The average accuracy of the SFF-Siam network reached 96.4% and 90.1% in our benchmark datasets, respectively. It provides valuable data for promoting the use of OBIs in conjunction with AI technology.

The incorporation of historical data (HD) into a clinical trial analysis can improve the precision and efficiency of treatment evaluation if the HD are exchangeable with clinical trial data. Evaluating the exchangeability of these two data sets is challenging, however, as an incorrect assessment of exchangeability yields invalid inference on the treatment effect that may produce bias and inflate the Type I error rate. To address this practical problem, we propose an adaptive fused group bridge penalty to evaluate the comparability of parameters between HD and clinical trial data and make inferences on the treatment effect.

To address the problem of low search efficiency of multi-objective evolutionary algorithm during iterations, we proposed a new idea which considering a single individual to generate better solutions in a single iteration as a starting point to improve the search performance of multi-objective evolutionary algorithm and designedthe neighbor strategy and guidance strategy based on this improved approach in this paper. We used our proposed new search strategy to improve NSGA-III algorithm(named as NSGA-III/NG) and MOEA/D algorithm(named as MOEA/D-NG). On ZDT, DTLZ and WFG public test sets, the NSGA-III/NG algorithm using the new search strategy was compared with NSGA-II algorithm, NSGA-III algorithm, ANSGA-III algorithm and NSGA-II/ARSBX algorithm.

Studies in Pomeranians as well as other breeds have looked at clinical signs or external features as predictors of Chiari-like malformation (CM) and syringomyelia (SM). The aim of this study is to describe and analyze morphometric factors of the skull of Pomeranians with and without CM/SM by means of CT as well as manual external measurements. Ninety-two Pomeranians >12 months of age were included that underwent both CT and MRI studies of the head and cervicothoracic vertebral column.

Oracle bone script, one of the earliest known forms of ancient Chinese writing, presents invaluable research materials for scholars studying the humanities and geography of the Shang Dynasty, dating back 3,000 years. The immense historical and cultural significance of these writings cannot be overstated. However, the passage of time has obscured much of their meaning, presenting a significant challenge in deciphering these ancient texts.
