In order to compare and analyze the chloroplast (cp) genomes of tomato germplasms and understand their phylogenetic relationships, the cp genomes of 29 tomato germplasms were sequenced and analyzed in this study. The results showed highly conserved characteristics in structure, number of gene and intron, inverted repeat regions, and repeat sequences among the 29 cp genomes. Moreover, single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) loci with high polymorphism located at 17 fragments were selected as candidate SNP markers for future studies. In the phylogenetic tree, the cp genomes of tomatoes were clustered into two major clades, and the genetic relationship between and was very close. In addition, only showed the highest average / ratio in the analysis of adaptive evolution, which was strongly positively selected. It may be very important for the study of adaptive evolution and breeding of tomato. In general, this study provides valuable information for further study of phylogenetic relationships, evolution, germplasm identification, and molecular marker-assisted selection breeding of tomato.

Fungal endophytes and epiphytes associated with plant leaves can play important ecological roles through the production of specialized metabolites encoded by biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs). However, their functional capacity, especially in crops like lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.), remains poorly understood.

Plastoglobuli (PG) are plant lipoprotein compartments, present in plastid organelles. They are involved in the formation and/or storage of lipophilic metabolites. FIBRILLINs (FBNs) are one of the main PG-associated proteins and are particularly abundant in carotenoid-enriched chromoplasts found in ripe fruits and flowers.

Klebsiella oxytoca is a N-fixing bacterium whose nif (nitrogen fixation) gene expression is controlled by the two antagonistic regulatory proteins NifA and NifL encoded by the nifLA operon. NifA is a transcriptional activator, while NifL inhibits the transcriptional activity of NifA. In order to develop an improved K.

The increasing frequency of extreme weather events affects ecosystems and threatens food production. The reduction of chemical pesticides, together with other ecological approaches, is crucial to more sustainable agriculture.
