This case report details the successful use of JenaValve for transcatheter aortic valve implantation in a male patient in his early 50s with severe aortic regurgitation. The patient had multiple comorbidities, including chronic kidney disease and heart failure, increasing the risk of surgical intervention. JenaValve, a second-generation device with unique positioning and anchoring mechanisms, was deployed successfully, resulting in immediate improvements in cardiac function without significant regurgitation or paravalvular leakage.

Background: Anatomical variations of the aorta-celiac trunk are highly relevant in abdominal surgery and interventional radiology. Traditional CT-A images may fall short in conveying these complex structures. This study investigates whether patient-specific 3D models can enhance resident-level understanding of aorta-celiac trunk anatomy and support surgical education.

Rationale: Struma ovarii is a rare form of mature cystic teratoma, with malignant transformation reported in approximately 5% to 10% of cases. Transformation into follicular thyroid carcinoma (FTC) is extremely uncommon; as a result, no standardized guidelines exist for treatment or prognosis for such cases.
Patient Concerns: A 54-year-old woman with cholelithiasis presented with upper abdominal discomfort.

Background: Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) pose a serious rupture risk, heightened by aortic calcification. Traditional calcification scoring methods are slow and require expertise. This study aims to construct a convolutional neural network (nnU-Net) model for automatic quantification and segmentation of abdominal aortic calcification from a single CTA scan.

Background: The clinical efficacy of intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) associated with intracranial artery dissection (IAD) remains uncertain. This study presents a case of basilar artery dissection (BAD) in a 57-year-old Asian female patient devoid of previous risk factors for stroke who experienced a sudden onset of consciousness disturbance. The patient's clinical condition deteriorated during IVT administration, but subsequent medical intervention and rehabilitative exercises facilitated eventual recovery of daily functioning.
