Background: Mental health (MH) problems are more common in people with intellectual disabilities (ID), yet under-diagnosis persists, which may be partly due to a lack of appropriate assessment tools. This study presents a systematic review of instruments used to assess MH problems in Spanish-speaking adults with ID.
Method: Following PRISMA guidelines, a search was conducted in Web of Science, PsycINFO, and Scopus using terms related to ID, MH and assessment.

Chaos theory, initially developed by Edward Lorenz, a mathematician and meteorologist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has evolved from a theory of the natural and physical sciences to a theory that has broad, interdisciplinary applications. Fundamentally, chaos theory connects various scientific disciplines by explaining how seemingly random behaviors that happen in non-linear or "chaotic" systems, no matter how minor, can lead to major consequences. While forensic anthropology is often considered an a-theoretical subfield of anthropology, the discipline has witnessed a proliferation of theoretical publications in recent years.

Introduction: Fermented buffalo milk products from South Asia remain an underexplored source of microbial diversity with potential health-promoting benefits. This study investigates the probiotic and industrial suitability of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and non-LAB isolates from traditional Pakistani dairy, addressing gaps in region-specific probiotic discovery.
Methods: Forty-seven bacterial isolates were obtained from fermented buffalo milk products (yogurt and cheese).

Purpose: This study investigates how older foreign-born adults in Sweden experience and navigate social connectedness as a determinant of wellbeing.
Methods: Employing Glaser's grounded theory methodology, we collected qualitative data through individual ( = 1) and focus group ( = 5) interviews with 23 participants aged 60 + representing four distinct cultural-linguistic groups: Arabic, Finnish, Spanish, and Chinese speakers.
