Article Abstract

In recent years, video streaming (VS) increased substantially. Adolescents are at significant risk of presenting problematic VS patterns associated with a spectrum of mental-health difficulties. Because VS platforms rely on similar mechanisms as digital games, the ICD-11 criteria for Gaming Disorder (GD) have been successfully implemented to measure Streaming Disorder (StrD) in adolescents. For proper diagnoses, external rating scales are urgently required in addition to self-reports. The Streaming Disorder Scale for Parents (STREDIS-P) was created and validated in a representative sample of = 891 adolescent-parent dyads. Mental health problems were assessed with standardized instruments. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to examine the underlying factor structure. Cutoff scores were determined using ROC analysis. Accordance between parental and adolescents' self-ratings was calculated. Consistent with the results of previous validation studies for screening instruments assessing similar phenomena based on ICD-11-GD criteria, two factors, cognitive-behavioral symptoms and negative consequences, were confirmed. STREDIS-P demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency, criterion validity, and discriminatory power. Accordance with adolescents' self-ratings was moderate. STREDIS-P is the first screening tool for assessing StrD in adolescents by parental ratings. It is highly relevant for conceptualizing a new phenomenon in clinical routine and academic research.

The breakthroughs in communication technologies, such as 5G, have significantly accelerated the popularity of high-traffic consumption entertainment activities, including short video live streaming and real-time broadcasting, making them one of the most prevalent social interaction methods today. It is the high activity level of such online engagements that has given rise to diversified online marketing business models, opening up new channels and opportunities for interactions between brands and consumers. This study focuses on the emerging "influencer marketing" strategy rooted in content marketing, employing double-layer network game theory to construct a dual-layer relationship network between "brands" and "influencers" and establish a game-theoretic mechanism between them.

Offering media-rich services, such as streaming videos, for emergency services requires compliance with reliability standards. The deployment of fifth-generation (5G) networks enables a wide range of services and applications with diverse Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. Supporting heterogeneous performance and migrating vital services to 5G networks pose significant challenges for emergency service providers in maintaining QoS.

Introduction: Video games have been linked to a range of positive and negative effects on the mental health of adolescents and young adults. However, to better understand how games affect the mental health of young people, their use and experiences must be situated in the sociocultural and personal life contexts of individuals. Drawing from a cultural-ecosocial approach, this study combines cross-sectional and digital phenotyping measures to examine the effects of video games on the mental health of youth.

Background: Bystanders have the potential to be a critical component of the Road Injury Chain of Survival, particularly in the early phases of injury recognition, scene assessment, and emergency service activation. Their potential role in trauma triage remains underexplored. This scoping review aims to examine the existing evidence of the use of bystanders in triage-both laypersons and non-clinical professionals-during the prehospital phase of road injury and other trauma scenarios.

ObjectiveIndia faces a critical shortage of mental health professionals, leaving primary care physicians (PCPs) as the primary point of contact for many individuals needing psychiatric care. The Diploma in Primary Care Psychiatry Program (DPCP), a one-year training initiative, aims to equip PCPs in India to manage psychiatric conditions in underserved areas. On-Consultation Training (OCT) is a module in the DPCP designed exclusively for practicing PCPs where a psychiatrist trains PCPs in live video streaming of their own real-time general consultations of primary health centres.
