Objectives: Given the increasing use of psilocybin-containing substances across a variety of use settings, understanding the potential risks is imperative for informing public health policy, health care providers, and consumers. Poison centers (PCs) receive calls following exposures to potential toxins to support the detection, prevention, and treatment of toxin-related health emergencies. This report assesses trends in PC encounters of psilocybin and a subset of other comparator substances.

Background: Preschools are important environments in shaping young children's lifestyle behaviours, including movement (physical activity, screen time, and sleep) and eating behaviours. Few studies have investigated how teachers and principals can be supported in promoting healthy lifestyle behaviours in the preschool setting and whether a digital support tool could be a way forward. This study aimed to explore preschool teachers' and principals' perceptions, needs, and prerequisites for promoting healthy lifestyle behaviours, as well as their preferences for a potential digital support.

The Child Health Care Service, Region Jönköping County, Jönköping, Sweden.
Background: The first year of a child's life is essential for promoting a healthy life, and the transition to becoming a parent can be a challenge; parents need to develop confidence in their own capacity to care for their child. The national Child Health Services programme in Sweden offers parental support, both on a universal level and in accordance with the individual family's needs. This study explores parents' experiences of an extended home-visit programme offered through a Family Centre to all first-time parents in a municipality.

Accurate three-dimensional localisation of ultrasonic bat calls is essential for advancing behavioural and ecological research. I present a comprehensive, open-source simulation framework-Array WAH-for designing, evaluating, and optimising microphone arrays tailored to bioacoustic tracking. The tool incorporates biologically realistic signal generation, frequency-dependent propagation, and advanced Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) localisation algorithms, enabling precise quantification of both positional and angular accuracy.

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Background: Direct admission can help reduce emergency department crowding, improve patient satisfaction, and decrease costs, yet there is opportunity to improve standardized processes to do so safely and efficiently. We designed and implemented a new process for urgent direct admission (UDA) at our children's hospital with the SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound) aim to increase the number of UDAs between transfer to an intensive care unit (ICU) within 12 hours from direct admission by 50% in 12 months.
Methods: We compared unanticipated ICU transfers within 12 hours of admission (outcome) before and after implementing a standardized UDA process.
