Summary: Temperature is very important for the growth of microorganisms. Appropriate temperature conditions can improve the possibility for isolation of currently uncultured microorganisms. The development of metagenomic binning technology had dramatically increased the availability of genomic information of prokaryotes, providing convenience to infer the optimal growth temperature (OGT). Here, we proposed CnnPOGTP, a predictor for OGTs of prokaryotes based on deep learning method using only k-mers distribution derived from genomic sequence. This method was annotation free, and the predicted OGT could be obtained by simply providing the genome sequence to the CnnPOGTP website.

To balance the "detection sensitivity" and "device stability" of the organic photoelectrochemical transistor (OPECT) aptasensors, it has become an urgent challenge for achieving effective signal modulation under low ascorbic acid (AA) conditions. To address this, our work proposed a collaborative optimization strategy by coupling heterojunction engineering with interfacial molecular modulation, to endow a high current gain of OPECT with low-AA -dependence. First, a CdZnS-SnInS heterojunction gate was constructed by in situ growth of CdZnS quantum dots (QDs) on SnInS nanoflowers, which enhanced the light trapping ability and photoelectric conversion efficiency of the photoactive gate.

Tetrahydrodipicolinate N-succinyltransferase (DapD) catalyzes the reaction of tetrahydrodipicolinate (THDP) and succinyl-CoA to form (S)-2-(3-carboxypropanamido)-6-oxoheptanedioic acid and coenzyme A. The enzyme is in the diaminopimelate-lysine biosynthesis pathway which produces two metabolites necessary for the survival and growth of pathogenic bacteria. Since lysine is an essential amino acid to humans, DapD is a potentially safe target for antibiotic therapies.

Introduction: Multifocal subsolid nodules (SSNs) are increasingly detected with widespread lung cancer screening and advanced thoracic imaging, representing a spectrum of multifocal lung adenocarcinomas (LUADs). When synchronous SSNs coexist with a surgically confirmed subsolid LUAD, their trajectories remain poorly understood, contributing to uncertainty regarding optimal management strategies. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical course and impact of synchronous SSNs in such patients and to identify features associated with their progression.

The global rise in chronic kidney disease necessitates innovative solutions for end-stage renal dis-ease that can help to overcome the limitations of the only available treatment options, transplanta-tion and dialysis. Tissue engineering presents a promising alternative, leveraging decellularized scaffolds to retain the extracellular matrix (ECM). However, optimizing methods for decellularization and recellularization remains a challenge.

The poultry industry plays a key role in meeting global protein needs amid changing demographics and lifestyles, and is constantly growing and evolving. Genetic selection and optimization of broiler breeder flocks have been key drivers of growth, making the maintenance of their health and performance essential both for chick production and for the long-term sustainability of the industry. Despite the high importance of broiler breeder flocks, no systematic bibliometric study has yet been conducted that specifically focuses on research in this area.
