Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the long-term outcomes of volar plate repair for chronic injury.
Methods: Patients who underwent volar plate repair for chronic instability more than 6 months following the initial injury were included. A minimum follow-up of 2 years from time of surgery was required.

Background: This study investigated the effectiveness of capsular suture repair for triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) in restoring distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) stability after plate fixation for distal radius fracture (DRF) combined with acute DRUJ instability, comparing the results of arthroscopic capsular suture with those of conservative treatment of TFCC injury.
Methods: Cases of DRF combined with DRUJ instability treated from January 2019 to December 2022 were reviewed retrospectively. After plate fixation of the distal radius fracture, patients with acute DRUJ instability were divided into two groups.

Introduction: Chronic volar wrist swelling is a diagnostic challenge, particularly in tuberculosis-endemic regions, where both infectious and inflammatory causes must be considered. Rheumatoid tenosynovitis, an extra-articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), can mimic infectious tenosynovitis, especially in seronegative patients.
Case Report: We report a case of a 44-year-old male presenting with progressive pain and swelling over the volar aspect of the right wrist for 2 months.

The scapholunate complex is composed of the intrinsic scapholunate ligament and the surrounding extrinsic ligamentous system on the dorsal and volar sides of the wrist. In chronic severe but reducible scapholunate instability (European Wrist Arthroscopy Society stage 4) without arthritis, intrinsic as well as extrinsic ligamentous stabilization becomes highly insufficient and lax. A modification of existing arthroscopic volar capsuloligamentous repair techniques is presented to specifically tighten the volar intrinsic scapholunate ligament in combination with the volar extrinsic scapholunate ligaments, without bone tunnels, bone anchors, or tendon grafts.

Background: Shaping the trapezium and metacarpal base during first carpometacarpal (CMC) Ensemble arthroplasty traditionally relies on manual rasping. This is time-consuming and poses the risk of iatrogenic nerve injury due to repeated rasping near the dorsal and volar branches of the dorsal radial sensory nerve. This case report presents a novel modification to the surgical technique by integrating a mini power saw to streamline joint space preparation.
