Objective: To investigate the incidence, risk factors and clinical consequences of acute kidney injury (AKI) following mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mini-PCNL), with particular focus on its association with postoperative infectious complications.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 496 adult patients who underwent mini-PCNL (22 Ch) between February 2020 and April 2025. AKI was defined according to KDIGO criteria as either a ≥ 1.

Rubber accelerators are chemicals used as vulcanizers in the production of rubber items and may cause contact allergy (CA). The aim of this study was to assess the worldwide prevalence of CA to rubber accelerators from the European baseline series among dermatitis patients. A comprehensive literature search across PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science yielded 106 studies with 826 543 individuals patch tested between 1984 and 2023.

Introduction: The UK National Osteoporosis Guideline Group (NOGG) first produced a guideline on the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis in 2008, with updates in 2013, 2017 and 2021.

Background: SLE has increased risk of invasive pneumococcal disease due to immune dysregulation and immunosuppression. European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology recommendations suggest sequential vaccination with conjugate vaccine, followed by 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPSV23). However, data on immunogenicity of sequential vaccination in SLE are limited.

Background: Alcohol septal ablation (ASA) is an established therapy for symptomatic hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) in patients unresponsive to medical treatment. However, comprehensive assessment of ASA outcomes remains challenging. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of institutional experience and patient characteristics on achieving complete clinical and haemodynamic response (CCHR), a novel composite outcome integrating long-term symptomatic, haemodynamic, safety, and major clinical endpoints, including survival and resuscitation.
