Article Abstract

The development of nanoparticles has provided a powerful weapon in the fight against cancer due to the discovery of their selective accumulation in tumoral tissues, known as enhanced permeation and retention (EPR) effect (Peer et al, Nat Nanotechnol 2:751-760, 2007). Tumoral tissues require afastformation of blood vessels to sustain this rapid growth.

A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted, involving 156 diagnosed cases of breast cancer who had undergone surgical treatment and laboratory investigations at Azadi Teaching Hospital and Duhok Private Hospital for 30 months.

Aurora kinase A promotes trained immunity via regulation of endogenous S-adenosylmethionine metabolism.

Innate immune cells can acquire a memory phenotype, termed trained immunity, but the mechanism underlying the regulation of trained immunity remains largely elusive. Here, we demonstrate that inhibition of Aurora kinase A (AurA) dampens trained immunity induced by β-glucan. ATAC-seq and RNA-seq analysis reveal that AurA inhibition restricts chromatin accessibility of genes associated with inflammatory pathways such as JAK-STAT, TNF, and NF-κB pathways.
