The community-driven initiative ‘ality ssessment and roducibility for Instruments & Images in ght croscopy’ (QUAREP-LiMi) wants to improve reproducibility for light microscopy image data through quality control (QC) management of instruments and images. It aims for a common set of QC guidelines for hardware calibration, image acquisition, management and analysis.

Chronic wounds pose a growing global health challenge. Accurate assessment is essential for monitoring healing, yet traditional two-dimensional methods lack volumetric analysis. Emerging three-dimensional imaging technologies offer enhanced precision, but their clinical validation and prognostic utility remain unclear.

Acidochromic fluorescent membranes have garnered significant research interest owing to their potential in real-time environmental monitoring and smart sensing applications. However, the rational design of membranes to optimize their structure-property interplay for enhanced acidochromic performance remains further explored. Herein, we prepared various stimulus-responsive micro/nanofibrous membranes using electrospinning technology by incorporating a fluorescent small molecule (TPECNPy-2) with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to obtain specific properties.

Background: Superficial digital flexor tendon (SDFT) injuries cause progressive loss of its mechanical properties. Two-dimensional shear wave elastography (2D-SWE) provides information about tissue stiffness.
Objective: To determine the feasibility, repeatability, and reproducibility of 2D-SWE of healthy and pathological forelimb SDFT.

Background And Hypothesis: Loose Associations (LA) in speech are key indicators of psychosis risk, notably in schizophrenia. Current detection methods are hampered by subjective evaluation, small samples, and poor generalizability. We hypothesize that combining Large Language Models (LLMs) with machine learning techniques could enhance objective identification of LA through improved semantic and probabilistic linguistic measures.

Aim: To map, summarise and analyse the methodologies of corneal nerve fibre imaging in studies using in vivo confocal microscopy (IVCM) in diabetes and assess the potential for standardising methods and reporting.
Methods: A scoping review was conducted using five databases, MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane, Web of Science and Scopus, with search terms related to IVCM, diabetes and corneal nerves. Two researchers independently screened the studies for eligibility.
