The outbreak of the novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has caused unprecedented impacts to people's daily life around the world. Various measures and policies such as lockdown and social-distancing are implemented by governments to combat the disease during the pandemic period. These measures and policies as well as virus itself may cause different mental health issues to people such as depression, anxiety, sadness, etc. In this paper, we exploit the massive text data posted by Twitter users to analyse the sentiment dynamics of people living in the state of New South Wales (NSW) in Australia during the pandemic period. Different from the existing work that mostly focuses on the country-level and static sentiment analysis, we analyse the sentiment dynamics at the fine-grained local government areas (LGAs). Based on the analysis of around 94 million tweets that posted by around 183 thousand users located at different LGAs in NSW in 5 months, we found that people in NSW showed an overall positive sentimental polarity and the COVID-19 pandemic decreased the overall positive sentimental polarity during the pandemic period. The fine-grained analysis of sentiment in LGAs found that despite the dominant positive sentiment most of days during the study period, some LGAs experienced significant sentiment changes from positive to negative. This study also analysed the sentimental dynamics delivered by the hot topics in Twitter such as government policies (e.g. the Australia's JobKeeper program, lockdown, social-distancing) as well as the focused social events (e.g. the Ruby Princess Cruise). The results showed that the policies and events did affect people's overall sentiment, and they affected people's overall sentiment differently at different stages.

Introduction: Several sub-Saharan African countries are launching malaria vaccination programmes for children. We assessed how attitudes to malaria vaccination for children could be better understood by considering the individual dynamics of COVID-19 vaccine intention/uptake over the 2021-2023 campaigns, with a view to highlighting barriers likely to affect malaria vaccine uptake.
Methods: We conducted a six-wave telephone-based survey of 600 randomly selected Senegalese households.

Background: Despite evidence that mothers-in-law (MILs) influence daughters-in-law's (DILs) fertility and family planning decisions in South Asia, emphasizing early fertility and male grandchildren, few reproductive health interventions engage MILs directly.
Objectives: We assessed the feasibility, acceptability, and qualitative impact of a reproductive health and life skill-based intervention on MILs in tribal Rajasthan, India, using a mixed-methods, single-group cluster pilot study.
Methods: We tested a light-touch four-session intervention delivered over 4 months to MILs of newly married women that covered MILs' health, conception, and communication with DILs and sons and addressed modern healthcare misconceptions, while challenging son preference and fertility norms.

In this paper, an event-triggered fuzzy control algorithm is proposed for the unmanned surface vessel (USV) and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) cooperative plant to achieve the high-precision landing mission. In the guidance module, an L virtual ship-L virtual aerial vehicle (LVS-LVA) guidance principle is developed to generate the reasonable reference signals for the USV-UAV plant under the landing mission. The proposed guidance principle incorporates a rolling kinematic compensation mechanism based on the 4-degree-of-freedom model of USV, specifically designed to counteract wave-induced rolling disturbances during UAV landing operations on unstable marine platforms.

Online communities such as Reddit offer neurodivergent individuals a unique space to express emotions, seek psychosocial support, and negotiate identity outside conventional social constraints. Understanding how these communities articulate and structure emotional discourse is essential for inclusive technology design. This study employed a hybrid natural language processing (NLP) framework that integrates lexicon-based sentiment analysis (VADER) with transformer-based topic modeling (BERTopic).

Background And Objectives: General practitioner (GP) recruitment strategies have been explored in previous research and are vital to workforce development. This study explores factors that influence engagement with Tasmanian GP training pathways and hence GP workforce recruitment and supply.
Method: Eighteen interviews investigated the experiences of Tasmanian GP trainees, supervisors and trainee support personnel to explore enablers and barriers to training engagement.
