Our research aims to ascertain the value of precursor and outgrowth lepidic in aiding the confirmation of multiple lung adenocarcinomas as separate primary lung cancers (SPLC). A total of 151 patients with metachronous multiple invasive adenocarcinomas were included in this study. Driver mutation tests(at least five genes: EGFR, ALK, KRAS, BRAF, and ROS1) were conducted on 302 tumors collected from 151 patients.

Objectives: The 9th edition of the Tumor, Node, Metastasis (TNM-9) lung cancer classification is set to replace the 8th edition (TNM-8) starting in 2025. Key updates include the splitting of the mediastinal nodal category N2 into single- and multiple-station involvement, as well as the classification of multiple extrathoracic metastatic lesions as involving a single organ system (M1c1) or multiple organ systems (M1c2). This study aimed to assess how the TNM-9 revisions affect the final staging of lung cancer patients and how these changes correlate with overall survival (OS).

Global Research Trends in EV-Based Cell-Free Therapy for Osteoarthritis: A Bibliometric Analysis.

Department of Joint and Sports Medicine, Chaoyang Central Hospital, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, China.

Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) represents a major global health challenge with no ideal treatment options available. Early-stage treatment typically focuses on symptomatic relief of pain and stiffness; while late-stage patients can only opt for surgical interventions such as joint replacement to improve quality of life. Cell-free therapy based on extracellular vesicles (EVs) has offered a novel therapeutic approach for regulating bone metabolism and repairing cartilage, demonstrating emerging potential.

The second messenger signaling molecule cyclic di-AMP drives developmental cycle progression in .

Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology, College of Medicine, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, United States.

The obligate intracellular bacterium alternates between two functional forms during its developmental cycle: elementary body (EB) and reticulate body (RB). However, the molecular mechanisms governing the transitions between these forms are unknown. Here, we present evidence that cyclic di-AMP (c-di-AMP) is a key factor in triggering the transition from RB to EB (i.

Despite recent advances in neoadjuvant strategies for locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC), optimal chemotherapy regimens and the role of genetic biomarkers in guiding treatment remain unclear. Moreover, predictive markers are urgently needed for radiation-sparing strategies. Therefore, we aimed to assess the predictive and prognostic value of TP53, KRAS, and APC mutations in patients with LARC undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) by retrospectively analyzing 43 patients with LARC who underwent NACT without radiation.
