Proprioceptive neurons (PNs) are essential for the proper execution of all our movements by providing muscle sensory feedback to the central motor network. Here, using deep single cell RNAseq of adult PNs coupled with virus and genetic tracings, we molecularly identify three main types of PNs (Ia, Ib and II) and find that they segregate into eight distinct subgroups. Our data unveil a highly sophisticated organization of PNs into discrete sensory input channels with distinct spatial distribution, innervation patterns and molecular profiles. Altogether, these features contribute to finely regulate proprioception during complex motor behavior. Moreover, while Ib- and II-PN subtypes are specified around birth, Ia-PN subtypes diversify later in life along with increased motor activity. We also show Ia-PNs plasticity following exercise training, suggesting Ia-PNs are important players in adaptive proprioceptive function in adult mice.

Idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder characterized by systemic inflammation and lymphadenopathy. Two major clinical subtypes, idiopathic plasmacytic lymphadenopathy (iMCD-IPL) and iMCD with thrombocytopenia, anasarca, fever, renal dysfunction/reticulin fibrosis, and organomegaly (iMCD-TAFRO), exhibit distinct pathophysiologic mechanisms. While interleukin-6 (IL-6) is known to be elevated in iMCD, the differences in IL-6 production sources between subtypes remain unclear.

Non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), characterized by impaired spermatogenesis and the complete absence of sperm in the ejaculate, represents one of the most severe forms of male infertility. Current diagnostic strategies rely on invasive procedures such as testicular sperm extraction, underscoring the urgent need for reliable, non-invasive alternatives. In the present study, we performed untargeted metabolomic profiling of human seminal plasma to identify biomarker panels capable of stratifying azoospermia subtypes through a stepwise approach.

Background: Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is a highly aggressive neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) with poor prognosis due to chemotherapy resistance. Molecular subtypes, including ASCL1, NEUROD1, YAP1 and POU2F3, have distinct clinical implications. POU2F3, linked to a tuft cell-like lineage, represents a non-neuroendocrine subtype found in SCLC and extrapulmonary NECs.

Background: Well-differentiated (WDLPS) and dedifferentiated liposarcomas (DDLPS) are subtypes with distinct behaviors, often driven by CDK4 amplification. While CDK4/6 inhibitors such as palbociclib show promise in trials, real-world data are scarce.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 21 patients with advanced WDLPS or DDLPS treated with palbociclib monotherapy at 16 Turkish Oncology Group centers (2019-2022).

Background: Recent research has started to uncover an important connection between immune system activity and cognitive abilities. Although correlative associations have been documented, the causal mechanisms connecting specific immune cell subpopulations to cognitive capabilities remain insufficiently characterized. Our research aimed to determine directional relationships between distinct immune cell subtypes and cognitive function, potentially identifying targets for immunomodulatory interventions.
