This observational study assesses the association of a new trauma center with transport times for trauma patients as a measure of prompt access to care and specifically examines changes in racial, ethnic, and income disparities in transport times.

Therefore, specific radiological parameters have been proposed as predictors of atraumatic subscapularis tears to improve diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy. Background: Globally, childhood neglect remains common in both developed and developing settings. However, there is a lack of robust evidence regarding the association between childhood neglect and adult mental disorders.
Methods: Using a sibling-comparison study nested within the FAMILY Cohort, we assessed the role of childhood neglect and abuse in adult mental disorders, taking into account known and unknown familial confounders shared by siblings.

Tinnitus, the auditory perception of sound without an external environmental stimulus, affects 15% of the human population and is associated with hearing loss. Interestingly, anxiety may be a significant risk factor in tinnitus pathophysiology potentially due to underlying common neural circuits of the auditory and limbic systems. The current study aimed to investigate the effects of stress-induced anxiety on tinnitus development in a rat model.

Objective: Experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV) can negatively impact young people's reproductive autonomy, including making it more challenging to get contraception. This study examined the association between IPV and delays in obtaining contraception in a sample of young women from California and Texas.
Study Design: The data are from a supplementary study to a cluster randomized controlled trial conducted with young people sexually-active within the past year recruited at 29 community colleges during the COVID-19 pandemic (May 2020-May 2023).
