The frequency of musculoskeletal system ultrasonography (US) has increased over time. The most common reason for musculoskeletal US is the evaluation of tendons. The superficial location of tendons makes US the most suitable diagnostic tool, and US is generally the initial imaging modality for tendon disorders. The primary advantages of US are its low cost, easy accessibility, rapidity, repeatability, freedom from x-rays, and enabling of a dynamic inspection. In addition, Doppler US and elastography can be performed simultaneously with US. We aimed to demonstrate the US and elastographic findings of tendon disorders that we frequently encounter in different regions.

Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) is a minimally invasive procedure for diagnosing lung infections and diseases. However, navigating tortuous lung anatomy to the distal branches of the bronchoalveolar tree for adequate sampling using BAL remains challenging. Continuum robots have been used to improve the navigation of guidewires, catheters, and endoscopes and could be applied to the BAL procedure as well.

Objectives: To explore the prevalence and distribution of ultrasound-detected lesions indicating structural damage at the enthesis (e.g., bone erosions, enthesophytes, and calcifications) in patients with spondyloarthritis (SpA), comparing those with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and to investigate the demographic, clinical, and metabolic factors linked to these lesions.

Background: Autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy (AAG), formerly known as acute pandysautonomia, is a rare, acquired, antibody-mediated, potentially curable autonomic disorder that presents with diffuse autonomic failure. High levels of anti-ganglionic nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (gAChR) serum antibodies are detected in approximately 50% of AAG cases, confirming the diagnosis.
Case Summary: We present the case of a 68-year-old man who developed autonomic failure gradually over a 2-year period.

Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH, Forestier's disease) is a rare non-inflammatory degenerative-dystrophic disease of the musculoskeletal system, characterized by calcification of ligaments and tendons, in particular the anterior longitudinal ligament. It is rare, more often among men over 60 years old. When the cervical spine is affected, DISH manifests itself as neck pain, stiffness of movement, dysphagia and, in some cases, difficulty breathing.

Orthopedic disorders affecting bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and other tissues are prevalent among outpatients, often caused by trauma, sports, or tumor removal. Surgical intervention is common but may yield unsatisfactory results due to limited regenerative capacity and poor blood supply. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP), an autologous biocomponent, has been clinically applied in tissue regeneration and repair, yet it faces challenges such as unclear mechanisms, side effects, and uncontrollable release.
