The generated lung nodule data plays an indispensable role in the development of intelligent assisted diagnosis of lung cancer. Existing generative models, primarily based on Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Models (DDPM), have demonstrated effectiveness but also come with certain limitations: GANs often produce artifacts and unnatural boundaries, and due to dataset limitations, they struggle with irregular nodules. While DDPMs are capable of generating a diverse range of nodules, their inherent randomness and lack of control limit their applicability in tasks such as segmentation.

Photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) offers high-resolution, non-invasive, and label-free imaging, making it invaluable for biomedical research. However, slow data acquisition and high sampling requirements remain key challenges that limit its broader applicability and scalability. We propose an Information-Efficient Photoacoustic Microscopy (IE-PAM) that jointly integrates sparse scanning encoding with neural network decoding to achieve high-quality reconstruction from extremely limited measurements.

Tuberculosis (TB) remains the world's deadliest infectious disease, with many active cases missed due to challenges in sputum collection. Exhaled breath aerosols (XBA), a major route of (MTB) transmission, offer a promising non-invasive alternative. This study evaluated the diagnostic accuracy and feasibility of the AveloMask-a novel point-of-care breath aerosol collection kit-for detecting active pulmonary TB using quantitative PCR (qPCR).

Existing customization methods typically follow two approaches: 1) test-time fine-tuning, which learn concepts effectively but is time-consuming and struggles with multi-part composition; 2) generalizable feed-forward methods, which offer efficiency but lack fine control over appearance specifics. To address these limitations, we present Parts2Whole, a diffusion-based generalizable portrait generator that harmoniously integrates multiple reference parts into high-fidelity human images by our proposed multi-reference mechanism.
