Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) has been linked to Alzheimer's Disease in the literature. However, little is known about whether SCD is associated with social/emotional support (SES). To investigate this association, this study utilized the 2015 and 2016 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System data. A study population of 17206 participants aged 45 years and older who responded to both the Emotional Support and Life Satisfaction survey module and the Cognition Decline survey module were included. Of this study population, 11.22% had SCD, and 21.83% reported insufficient SES. A much higher percentage of those with insufficient SES experienced SCD compared to those with sufficient SES (21.15% vs 8.45%, < .0001). Insufficient SES was significantly associated with SCD (odds ratio = 1.68, 95% confidence interval: 1.37-2.06), after controlling for other factors. Furthermore, this study found certain demographic groups such as female, white, or married groups were more likely to receive sufficient SES.

Hydroborate-based solid electrolytes (SEs), distinguished by their eco-friendliness and non-flammability have emerged as a research hotspot in energy storage research. Despite these advantages, their widespread adoption is constrained by insufficient ionic conductivity and poor high-voltage compatibility. To overcome this challenge, a novel hydroborate SEs, 400-0.

However, the vIRF3/IRF4-responsive DNA sequences underlying this cooperation are unknown.

To better understand heterogeneity in PTSD development and to ensure that knowledge of risk and intervention mechanisms is available for a diverse group of trauma exposed individuals, psychotraumatology needs to consider diversity in sample characteristics. In a comprehensive overview, we evaluated how nine diversity domains including age, socioeconomic status (SES), race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, care responsibilities, religion/worldview, mental health, physical health, and disability status were considered in prospective PTSD research. In in-depth analyses, we further investigated the assessment and representation of population groups with regard to age, SES and race/ethnicity.

Objectives: It is relatively unknown how to inform individuals about lung cancer screening to enable informed decision-making (IDM). This study aims to determine the level of IDM across different recruitment methods among participants invited for the 4-IN-THE-LUNG-RUN trial, the European implementation trial for lung cancer screening.
Methods: A 23-item online questionnaire related to decision-relevant knowledge was sent to 848 Dutch men and women, aged 60-79 years, who were randomised in 4-IN-THE-LUNG-RUN.

Background: Socioeconomic status' (SES) impact on distress during cancer survivorship has been insufficiently studied, although the consequences of low SES can be cumulative and adversely impact a person's ability to access resources required for improved health and quality of life.
Patients And Methods: We conducted a prospective study involving newly diagnosed patients within 2 months of diagnosis (t1), and at 6-, 12-, and 18-month follow-up (t2-t4) using the Distress Thermometer (DT). Generalized Linear Mixed Models (GLMM) were used to test for changes in distress over time, with fixed effects of time, SES, and age.
