A collection of cold rubidium atoms in three-level configuration trapped in two dimensional (2D) optical lattices is revisited. The trapped atoms are considered in the Gaussian density distribution and we study the realization of -, non- -, and -antisymmetry in 2D optical lattices. Such a fascinating modulation is achieved by spatially modulating the intensity of the driving field. Interestingly, control over - to non- -symmetry and vice versa in 2D optical lattices is achieved via a single knob such as microwave field, probe field and relative phase of optical and microwave fields. In addition, control over -antisymmetry to non- -symmetry and vice versa is also achieved via relative phase. The coherent control of - non- - and -antisymmetry in optical susceptibility of 2D atomic lattices can be extended to 2D optical devices including modulators, detectors, and the 2D atomic lattices can also be extended to photonic transistors and diodes.

Hopfions-higher-dimensional topological quasiparticles with sophisticated 3D knotted spin textures discovered in condensed matter and photonic systems-show promise in high-density data storage and transfer. Here, we present crystalline structures of hopfions lying in space-time constructed by spatiotemporally structured light. Practical methodologies using bichromatic structured light beams or dipole arrays to assemble 1D and higher dimensional hopfion lattices are proposed, and a technique for tailoring topological orders is elucidated.

Lithium metavanadate (LiVO) is a material of growing interest due to its monoclinic 2/ structure, which supports efficient lithium-ion diffusion through one-dimensional channels. This study presents a detailed structural, electrical, and dielectric characterization of LiVO synthesized a solid-state reaction, employing X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), and impedance/dielectric spectroscopy across a temperature range of 473-673 K and frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 MHz. XRD and Rietveld refinement confirmed high crystallinity and single-phase purity with lattice parameters = 10.

[Cu(3-bph)(PABA)(HO)] () (3-bph = ,'-bis(3-pyridylmethylene)hydrazine and PABA = -amino benzoate) is a pyridyl-N bridging Cu coordination polymer, and PABA acts as a carboxylate-O donor forming a square pyramidal CuNO motif following a zigzag one-dimensional (1D) lattice. The shows weak antiferromagnetic coupling ( = -0.196(1) cm), and emission appears at 352 nm (λ = 293 nm), which is selectively quenched by Fe via the FRET mechanism.

For photodetection applications using 3D hybrid perovskites (HPs), dense and thick films or compacted powders in wafer form are needed and generally require large amounts of HPs. HPs are also often combined with a graphene/carbon layer to improve their conductivity. Among HP synthesis methods, mechanosynthesis, a green synthesis method, provides a large amount of powders, which are furthermore easily densified in compact wafers due to their mechanical activation.
