In this study, the flow behavior and creep parameters of saffron desserts containing gum tragacanth combinations of three species were modeled by the mixture design approach. Flow behavior and creep-recovery experiments were performed and models were predicted for apparent viscosity, consistency index, flow index, instantaneous compliance, and viscoelastic compliance. Five representative samples regarding the range of apparent viscosity at the shear rate of 50 s were subjected to sensory evaluation. According to rheological measurements, the addition of GT species of led to the production of a dessert with a strong structure. Then, two samples with the highest consistency index and the lowest creep parameters were compared with two commercial saffron desserts. The results revealed that the overall acceptance of the two selected samples [containing 4% (w/w) 2.66% (w/w) and 1.33% (w/w) ] was similar to those of the two commercial samples.

A compound marker integrates two or more genetic markers into a single assay. Background: ZUMA-7 is the largest randomized controlled trial (RCT) for chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy, which compared axicabtagene ciloleucel (axi-cel) to historical standard of care (HSoC) for the treatment of relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (R/R DLBCL). Both arms of ZUMA-7 contained potentially curative treatments; however, differences in the treatment completion rate and timing to receive definitive treatment led to differences in the extent and timing of cure. Mixture cure modeling (MCM) has been suggested as a superior method in designing and powering clinical studies of curative therapies but also for extrapolation of long-term outcomes in simulation studies.

Synthetic antioxidants and plasticizers have emerged as environmental contaminants to which prenatal exposure is widespread, raising concerns about adverse pregnancy outcomes. This study aimed to investigate the association between prenatal exposure to a mixture of synthetic antioxidants and plasticizers and the risk of spontaneous preterm birth (SPB), alongside underlying molecular responses. A nested case-control design was established, including 80 SPB cases and 170 matched healthy controls.

Radio frequency (RF) control is a key technique in cold atom experiments. We present a compact and efficient RF circuit based on a capacitive transformer network, where a low-frequency coil operating up to 30 MHz serves as both an intrinsic inductor and a power-sharing element. The design enables high current delivery and flexible impedance matching across a wide frequency range.
