Introduction: The modification of an inhaler's air flow resistance influences a patient's inhalation flow profile, thereby affecting the exit velocity of an aerosol leaving the Respimat® mouthpiece. A slower inhalation maneuver results in reduced plume velocity and thus a decreased oropharyngeal deposition due to reduced impaction. This could not only lead to fewer unwanted side effects associated with inhaled therapies, but also enhance lung deposition.

Correlated spiking has been widely found in large population of neurons and been linked to neural coding. Transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) is a promising non-invasive brain stimulation technique that can modulate the spiking activity of neurons. Despite its growing application, the tACS effects on the temporal correlation between spike trains are still not fully understood.

Sports injury surveillance programs have been vital in advancing the understanding of injury epidemiology across various athlete populations. Surveillance-based epidemiological measures of injury occurrence are ubiquitous in the sports medicine literature, and the injury rate is one such commonly used measure. Traditional approaches to calculating injury rates have predominantly relied on frequentist methods, which, while informative, have limitations in addressing certain practical questions.

In particular, models based on strongly correlated fermions are central to our understanding of quantum chemistry and materials problems, and can lead to exotic, topological phases of matter. Background: Understanding the mutational landscape is critical for elucidating the molecular mechanisms driving cancer progression. This study aimed to profile somatic mutations in bladder cancer patients (N=7) from Bangladesh to provide insights into the genetic alterations underlying this malignancy.
Methods: We performed targeted sequencing of 50 oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes using the Ion AmpliSeq Cancer Hotspot Panel v2 on tumor and matched blood samples from seven bladder cancer patients.
