Objectives This study aimed to determine how turnover intentions among public health nurses have changed following their coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) response compared to 10 years ago, using propensity score matching. Methods As part of the Committee on Public Health Nursing's 2022/2023 activities, we conducted a repeated cross-sectional survey among public health nurses based on the Job Demands-Resources Model, a theoretical framework for turnover intentions. Background: Select patients with metastatic clear-cell renal-cell carcinoma can be treated without systemic therapy, yet few studies have explored this population. We investigated the efficacy of metastasis-directed therapy without systemic therapy in oligometastatic clear-cell renal-cell carincoma.
Methods: This investigator-initiated single-arm, phase 2 trial enrolled patients aged 18 years or older with an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0-2, histologically confirmed clear-cell renal-cell carcinoma, and one to five metastases.

Nipah virus (NiV) has emerged as a significant public health threat, with recurring outbreaks in Bangladesh often linked to the consumption of raw date palm sap contaminated by fruit bats (Pteropus species). Over the past two decades, substantial efforts have been made to understand the cultural context of sap consumption, promoting behavior change and developing interventions to prevent NiV spillover. Despite these efforts, achieving sustainable change in sap consumption practices remains challenging due to deep-seated cultural practices, community perceptions of sap consumption, habitual behaviors, limited awareness of health risks and economic barriers.

Wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE) is increasingly used as a complementary tool for monitoring drug use at the population level, providing anonymized, real-time estimates of community drug consumption. Site-specific applications of WBE can identify localized patterns that national or municipal surveys may overlook. This study presents the first comprehensive, site-specific assessment of illicit drug use in South Korea using WBE.
