Storing and delaying optical signals plays a crucial role in data centers, phased array antennas, communication, and future computing architectures. Here, we show a delay scheme based on cascaded Brillouin light storage that achieves multi-stage delay at arbitrary positions within a photonic integrated circuit. Importantly these multiple resonant transfers between the optical and acoustic domain are controlled solely via external optical control pulses, allowing cascading of the delay without the need of aligning multiple structural resonances along the optical circuit.

The anti-HER2 antibody‒drug conjugate (ADC) DS-8201 presents new hope for patients with advanced HER2-positive tumors. Its clinical application, however, is hindered by serious adverse reactions and reduced efficacy following long-term treatment. In this study, we investigated the factors influencing the sensitivity of DS-8201 and developed effective combination regimens to optimize its therapeutic efficacy.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Acute lung injury (ALI) is a severe health issue characterized by high morbidity and mortality, driven by excessive inflammatory responses. The traditional Chinese medicine Huashi Baidu Granules (HBG) demonstrated clinical efficacy in treating severe ALI, yet its mechanisms remain unclear.
Aim Of The Study: This research aimed to examine the efficacy and underlying mechanisms of HBG in a lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced ALI model, identify core herbal constituents, active compounds, and therapeutic targets, providing a foundation for optimizing HBG-based treatments.

Achieving high-quality PET imaging while minimizing scan time and patient radiation dose presents significant challenges, particularly in the absence of CT-based attenuation maps. Joint reconstruction algorithms, such as MLAA and MLACF, partially address these challenges but often result in noisy and less reliable images. Denoising these images is critical for enhancing diagnostic accuracy.

Given the pivotal role of Flap endonuclease 1 (FEN1) in tumor pathogenesis and progression, the advancement of its activity and inhibitor assays holds significant importance for cancer research and drug screening. Herein, we proposed a convenient, visual and sensitive colorimetric biosensing platform for FEN1 activity detection by integrating the robust signal amplification power of rolling circle amplification (RCA), the target enrichment capability of magnetic beads (MB), and the high efficiency and visualization of urease-mediated litmus test. Based on the significant color transition with a clear response mechanism, quantitative analysis can be achieved by either spectroscopic or smartphone-based detection.
