Objectives: This study aims to evaluate delayed diagnosis of osteoid osteoma (OO) in pediatric patients with hip pain and to identify the diagnostic challenges and errors encountered during this period.
Patients And Methods: Between May 2010 and July 2022, a total of 18 patients (11 males; 7 females; median age: 12 years; range, 6 to 20 years) with a confirmed diagnosis of OO were retrospectively analyzed. Demographic, clinical, and radiographic data were recorded.

Scurvy, a condition caused by a deficiency in ascorbic acid, is often considered an outdated, textbook disease, largely forgotten in the 21st century. However, recent reports indicate a rise in cases, particularly among individuals with risk factors for nutritional deficiencies or those with specific dietary habits. These cases are frequently misdiagnosed, leading to a series of unnecessary tests that could be avoided with a thorough assessment of dietary intake.

This study aims to retrospectively analyze the clinical data of children diagnosed with vascular malformations associated with limb hypertrophy, treated at the General Surgery department of Liangjiang Branch of the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University. Additionally, it seeks to explore the diagnostic and therapeutic value of endovascular interventions for this condition. This study conducts a retrospective analysis of the medical records of children with vascular malformations accompanied by limb hypertrophy who received treatment in our department.

Purpose: Shepherd's crook deformity is a characteristic complication of fibrous dysplasia (FD) of the femur, leading to coxa vara and mechanical instability. Two-stage surgical approaches involve initial valgus osteotomy followed by delayed intramedullary femoral stabilization, prolonged treatment, and increasing morbidity. This study evaluates a one-stage surgical correction that employs fibular strut allograft augmentation for both the femoral neck and shaft.
