Our purpose was to analyze associations between positron emission tomography (PET), diffusion weighted imaging (DWI), and dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) imaging in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The study involved 34 patients (9 women, 25 men, mean age: 56.7 ± 10.2 years). In all patients a simultaneous F-FDG-PET/MR was performed. DWI was obtained by using of an axial EPI sequence. Minimal ADC values (ADC), mean ADC values (ADC), and maximal ADC values (ADC) were estimated. DCE MRI was performed by using dynamic T1w DCE sequence. The following parameters were estimated: , , and . Spearman's correlation coefficient was used to analyze associations between investigated parameters. In overall sample, ADC correlated significantly with and , ADC correlated with , and ADC correlated with and . SUV tended to correlate slightly with . In G1/2 tumors, only correlated well with ADC and SUV. In G3 tumors, correlated well with and . showed significant correlations with ADC and ADC. correlated with ADC. was higher in cancers with N2/3 stages. Tumor metabolism, water diffusion, and tumor perfusion have complex relationships in HNSCC. Furthermore, these associations depend on tumor grading. may predict lymphonodal metastasizing.

Introduction: Patients with advanced solid tumors may be considered for early phase clinical trials investigating the safety, tolerability, and dosing of experimental therapies. Optimizing participant selection is critical to maximize clinical benefit and meet trial endpoints with fewer participants. One in six participants does not meet routine life expectancy requirements (>3 months), highlighting the need for improved prognostication.

Purpose: In this retrospective study, whether [Ga]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/MR imaging biomarkers can predict the progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer was investigated.
Methods: Fifty-one patients who underwent [Ga]Ga-DOTA-FAPI-04 PET/MR scans before first-line chemotherapy were recruited. Imaging biomarkers, including the maximum tumor diameter, minimum apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), maximum and mean standardized uptake values (SUV and SUV), fibroblast activation protein- (FAP-) positive tumor volume (FTV and W-FTV) and total lesion FAP expression (TLF and W-TLF), were recorded for primary and whole-body tumors.

Objective: To evaluate multiparametric MRI features of pediatric soft-tissue sarcomas, comparing pre-treatment and post-treatment features, and assessing correlation with clinical outcomes.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective cohort study, including pediatric patients (≤ 18 years) with histologically-confirmed soft-tissue sarcomas who underwent MRI with anatomic and functional sequences in consecutive series. Post-treatment MRI was available for a subset, and features were recorded by two readers.

Background: Advanced diffusion models have been introduced to improve characterization of tissue microstructure in breast cancer assessment.
Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic utility of monoexponential apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), time-dependent diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (td-dMRI), and the Continuous-Time Random-Walk (CTRW) diffusion model for differentiating breast lesions and predicting Ki-67 expression levels.
Methods: Fifty-three consecutive patients with suspected breast lesions undergoing preoperative MRI were enrolled in this prospective investigation.
