Orbital pseudotumor is a rare, idiopathic, inflammatory process within the orbit. Early diagnosis is essential to prevent corneal, retinal and extraocular muscle damage. This article describes the presentation and clinical course of a 3-year-old male with bilateral orbital pseudotumor.

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical data of idiopathic orbital inflammation with isolated and non-isolated lacrimal gland involvement.
Methods: The medical records of patients who were diagnosed with idiopathic orbital inflammation between January 2016 and June 2022 were evaluated. The patients were divided into 2 groups: isolated and non-isolated lacrimal gland involvement, and were compared in terms of clinical characteristics, response to treatment and recurrence rates.

Background: Nonspecific orbital inflammation (NSOI), also known as idiopathic orbital inflammation, comprises a heterogeneous group of immune-mediated disorders affecting orbital tissues, unified by the absence of a defined etiology. Lactotransferrin (LTF), an iron-binding glycoprotein, exerts potent antimicrobial activity by sequestering iron essential for microbial growth, and demonstrates broad-spectrum antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.
Methods: LTF was identified through the intersection analysis of common DEGs from datasets GSE58331 and GSE105149 from the GEO database, alongside immune-related gene lists from the ImmPort database, using Multiple Machine learning and WGCNA analysis.

Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener's granulomatosis), affects many systems and can show up in a variety of ways. Sometimes, only a few organs are affected. Rare complications of this vasculitis syndrome include a retroorbital pseudotumor with proptosis due to chronic tissue inflammation, as well as necrosis with subsequent palate perforation.

Objective: To quantitatively evaluate the degree of fibrosis in Idiopathic Orbital Inflammatory Pseudotumor (IOIP) using Intravoxel Incoherent Motion Diffusion-Weighted Imaging (IVIM-DWI).
Methods: Twenty eight patients (32 eyes) with idiopathic orbital inflammatory pseudotumor were pathologically diagnosed in the Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University from August 2019 to August 2024. Routine orbital MRI plain scan and ivim-dwi scan were completed before surgery, and the true diffusion coefficient (d), pseudo diffusion coefficient (d*) and perfusion fraction (f) were obtained.
