Luminescent porous coordination polymers, cage-containing chains [Pb(L1)(N)(OH)] (1) and 1-D double helical chains [Pb(L2)(N)] (2) with 1-D channels were prepared by solvothermal reactions. These polymers can take up metal ions and induce different luminescence responses depending on the metal ions.

Sequential assembly of donor-acceptor components at the molecular level within a MOF is an effective strategy to achieve efficient electron-hole separation for enhancing the activity of photocatalysts. Meanwhile, the highly efficient and selective functionalization of tetrahydroisoquinoline (THIQ) under mild conditions remains an urgent demand in both the scientific and industrial communities. This work reports a donor-acceptor MOF photocatalyst () constructed by the coordinated assembly of donor and acceptor components, in which a naphthalene unit serves as an electron donor and a perylenediimide unit as an electron acceptor.

Understanding seismic attenuation in carbonate rocks is critical for improving reservoir characterization and fluid monitoring during hydrocarbon exploration. This study investigated the behavior of P-wave attenuation (1/ ) during fluid substitution from saltwater to oil in coquina samples from the Morro do Chaves Formation, an analogue of Brazilian pre-salt reservoirs. Laboratory experiments were conducted at an ultrasonic frequency (1.

Stable, treatment-resistant Cu complexes in practical wastewater are frequently neglected. Positively charged lysozyme amyloid fibrils (AF), however, exhibit unexplored potential for their adsorption. This study engineered an amyloid fibril-chitosan composite (AF-CS) xerogel and evaluated its adsorption performance in three systems: free Cu, Cu-Citrate binary, and Cu-EDTA binary.

Developing single-atom catalysts (SACs) with dense active sites and universal synthesis strategies remains a critical challenge. Herein, we present a scalable and universal strategy to synthesize high-density transition metal single-atom sites, anchored in nitrogen-doped porous carbon (M-SA@NC, M = Fe, Co, Ni) and investigate their oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalytic activity for flexible Zn-air batteries (ZABs). Using a facile coordination-pyrolysis strategy, atomically dispersed M-N sites with high metal loading are achieved.

Porous metal-organic polyhedra (MOPs) have strong covalent and coordinate bonds that define the intrinsic pore of the cage. The intermolecular interactions between cages tend to be weaker, such that they rearrange during the solvent exchange process preceding gas sorption measurements. The reduction in crystal size that this often causes limits the availability of structural data that could enable understanding of observed gas uptake.
