Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) are small, membrane-bound particles released by cells into biological fluids, where they function as mediators of intercellular communication. These vesicles transport a diverse array of bioactive molecules, including proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, and play essential roles in regulating physiological and pathological processes. Recent research has revealed the significance of EVs in reproductive biology, particularly in the areas of spermatozoa maturation, oocyte development, embryo implantation, and maternal-fetal interactions.

In South American Camelids (SAC), determining a suitable time point for mating poses challenges as females ready for conception do not show estrus signs or behavioral changes. Therefore, the applicability of measuring sex steroids in milk and vaginal cytology as non-invasive methods for monitoring ovarian activity was investigated.Samples were collected from a total of 10 alpacas (A) and 9 llamas (L) over a period of 4 weeks following parturition.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent endocrine and metabolic condition among women of reproductive age, frequently associated with oxidative stress (OS) and chronic low-grade inflammation. Low-Intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) is a safe, non-invasive physical therapy method widely used in promoting fracture healing, soft tissue repair, and reducing inflammation. This study explored the improving effect of LIPUS on ovarian function in PCOS rat models induced by letrozole and a high-fat diet.

Castleman disease (CD) is a group of rare lymphoproliferative disorders characterized by shared histopathological features but distinct clinical entities, broadly classified into unicentric Castleman disease (UCD) and multicentric Castleman disease (MCD). UCD involves a single anatomical site and typically follows a benign clinical course, whereas MCD affects multiple lymph node stations and is associated with systemic symptoms and a more complex therapeutic approach. The disease is poorly understood, and the difficulty in reaching a diagnosis is well noted in the literature.
