Primary aortic neoplasms are rare. Aortic sarcoma arising after endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) is a scarce subset of primary aortic malignancies, reports of which are infrequent in the published literature. The diagnosis of aortic sarcoma is challenging due to its non-specific clinical presentation, and the prognosis is poor due to delayed diagnosis, rapid proliferation, and propensity for metastasis. Post-EVAR, aortic sarcomas may mimic other more common aortic processes on surveillance imaging. Radiologists are rarely knowledgeable about this rare entity for which multimodality imaging and awareness are invaluable in early diagnosis. A series of three pathologically confirmed cases are presented to display the multimodality imaging features and clinical presentations of aortic sarcoma arising after EVAR.

Aging Biomarker Consortium (ABC), Beijing, China.
The global surge in the population of people 60 years and older, including that in China, challenges healthcare systems with rising age-related diseases. To address this demographic change, the Aging Biomarker Consortium (ABC) has launched the X-Age Project to develop a comprehensive aging evaluation system tailored to the Chinese population. Our goal is to identify robust biomarkers and construct composite aging clocks that capture biological age, defined as an individual's physiological and molecular state, across diverse Chinese cohorts.

Dysregulated dopaminergic signaling has been implicated in the pathophysiology of major depressive disorder (MDD) and childhood sexual abuse (CSA), but inconsistencies abound. In a multimodal PET-functional MRI study, harnessing the highly selective tracer [C]altropane, we investigated dopamine transporter availability (DAT) and resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) within reward-related regions among 112 unmedicated individuals (MDD: n = 37, MDD/CSA: n = 18; CSA no MDD: n = 14; controls: n = 43). Striatal DAT and seed-based rsFC were assessed in the dorsal and ventral striatum and the ventral tegmental area.

Postpartum Depression (PPD) is a significant perinatal mood disorder affecting many new mothers in the first postpartum year. It is characterized by emotional, cognitive, and behavioral changes, often leading to delayed diagnosis due to nonspecific symptoms. PPD arises from a complex interplay of neuroendocrine, genetic, and psychosocial factors.

Lanthanide-doped fluoride nanoparticles show great potential for optical thermometry and bioimaging. However, their applications are still constrained by inherent limitations in luminescence intensity and functional versatility. To overcome these challenges, we propose a core-active shell-inert shell nanostructure that integrates multifunctional capabilities within a single platform.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming many fields, including healthcare and medicine. In biomarker discovery, AI algorithms have had a profound impact, thanks to their ability to derive insights from complex high-dimensional datasets and integrate multi-modal datatypes (such as omics, electronic health records, imaging or sensor and wearable data). However, despite the proliferation of AI-powered biomarkers, significant hurdles still remain in translating them to the clinic and driving adoption, including lack of population diversity, difficulties accessing harmonised data, costly and time-consuming clinical studies, evolving AI regulatory frameworks and absence of scalable diagnostic infrastructure.
