Article Abstract

Tomato early blight is an important threat and it has capacity to reduce the production in all major tomato producing areas. Molecular mechanism underlying the resistance against this is not well known. Therefore we studied this system to search the possible mechanism of resistance, which includes pathogenesis related protein, and pathways and transcription factors, which are responsible for resistance against this pathogen using affymetrix gene chip for tomato. Their differential expressions have enhanced the biochemical and other related products, which have, direct or indirect role in stopping the penetration of mycelia in the host plant.

Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) patient-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) behave differently than normal ones, creating a more protective environment for leukemia cells, making relapse harder to prevent. This study aimed to identify prognostic biomarkers and elucidate relevant biological pathways in AML by leveraging microarray data and advanced bioinformatics techniques. We retrieved the GSE122917 dataset from the NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus and performed differential expression analysis (DEA) within R Studio to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) among healthy donors, newly diagnosed AML patients, and relapsed AML patients.

Objective: To evaluate dynamic changes in autoantibody and proteomic profiles in treatment-naïve systemic sclerosis (SSc) patients and identify biomarkers and mechanisms associated with disease progression.

Methods: Serum samples from 30 baseline and 49 follow-up SSc patients, along with 38 controls, were analyzed. Autoantibody profiles were assessed using an autoantigen microarray targeting 120 autoantibodies, while proteomic analysis was conducted via liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry in data-independent acquisition mode.

Background: The methylation of and its influence on protein stability and degradation could play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), although the underlying molecular mechanisms are not yet fully understood. This study investigates the molecular and bioinformatic features of methylation in T2DM.

Methods: Bioinformatics analyses were conducted on the T2DM database chip.

Background: All three dengue vaccines that have completed phase 3 clinical trials have shown greater efficacy in dengue-seropositive compared to dengue-seronegative individuals. This includes the live-attenuated tetravalent dengue vaccine TAK-003, where immunogenicity in baseline seronegative individuals remains lower after two doses, despite seroconversion after the first dose, compared to baseline seropositive individuals after one dose.

Methods: A whole-genome microarray was used to analyze the host response to TAK-003.

Calcium oxalate (CaOx) stones are prevalent in urinary tract stone disease. While their formation can be induced in rats by administering ethylene glycol and vitamin D, the initial nucleation and formation processes are unclear. Here, we aimed to determine where CaOx crystals initially form, examine the associated histological and morphological changes, and clarify the genes whose expression varies at those sites and their function.
