Objective: Anoikis is an anchorage-dependent programmed cell death implicated in multiple pathological processes of cancers; however, the prognostic value of anoikis-related genes (ANRGs) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains unclear. Our study aims to develop an ANRGs-based prediction model to improve prognostic assessment in HCC patients.
Methods: The RNA-seq profile was performed to estimate the expression of ANRGs in HCC patients.

The mammary gland, which primarily develops postnatally, undergoes significant changes during pregnancy and lactation to facilitate milk production. Through the generation and analysis of 480 transcriptomes, we provide the most detailed allelic expression map of the mammary gland, cataloguing cell-type-specific expression from ex-vivo purified cell populations over 10 developmental stages, enabling comparative analysis. The work identifies genes involved in the mammary gland cycle, parental-origin-specific and genetic background-specific expression at cellular and temporal resolution, genes associated with human lactation disorders and breast cancer.

Research into the mechanisms underlying neuromodulation by tES using in-vivo animal models is key to overcoming experimental limitations in humans and essential to building a detailed understanding of the in-vivo consequences of tES. Insights from such animal models are needed to develop targeted and effective therapeutic applications of non-invasive brain stimulation in humans. The sheer difference in scale and geometry between animal models and the human brain contributes to the complexity of designing and interpreting animal studies.

Early organogenesis is a crucial stage in embryonic development, characterized by extensive cell fate specification to initiate organ formation but also by a high susceptibility to developmental defects. Here, we profiled 285 serial sections from six E7.5-E8.

Background: The most common endocrine cancer, thyroid carcinoma (TC), has a dismal prognosis when it reaches an advanced stage. Integrin α-2 () has been implicated in cancer progression, influencing both DNA damage and repair mechanisms. However, it is unknown how ITGA2 influences these processes in TC.
