Streamer plays a key role in the process of OH radical generation. The propagation of primary and secondary streamers of positive wire-plate pulsed corona discharge was observed using a short gate ICCD in air environment. The influence of the applied voltage on the properties was investigated. It was shown that the primary streamer propagation velocity, electric coverage and length of secondary streamer increased significantly with increasing the applied voltage. Then 2-D OH distribution was investigated by the emission spectrum. With the analysis of the OH emission spectra, the distribution of OH radicals showed a trend of decreasing from the wire electrode to its circumambience. Compared with the streamer propagation trace, the authors found that OH radical distribution and streamer are in the same area. Both OH radical concentration and the intensity of streamer decreased when far away from the wire electrode.

Simultaneous measurements of dimethylsulfide (DMS) and isoprene in seawater and the overlying atmosphere were conducted in the tropical western Pacific Ocean during February-March 2017. Surface seawater exhibited a strong correlation between DMS and dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP), with similar spatial distributions, whereas dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) displayed an opposing trend. Latitudinal and vertical profiles of DMS, DMSP, and isoprene revealed their pronounced dependence on biological factors, particularly in subsurface layers.

This article investigates the state estimation problem for 2-D Markov jumping systems subjected to randomly occurring FDIA. To address this challenge, a novel probabilistic multi-interval ETP (PMIETP) is proposed, integrated with a time-varying saturation mechanism (TVSM). The PMIETP is designed by combining subinterval triggering thresholds with a probability distribution model, thereby enhancing system performance and adaptability under varying network conditions.

The lightweight, wearable, comfortable, and high-performance sensors are crucial for future wearable electronics to facilitate the real-time monitoring of human health. In this paper, the textile-based flexible dry sensor is fabricated by coating waterborne polyurethane (WPU) enhanced poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) onto the commercial polyester fabric (PF). The WPU, containing both hard and soft segments, was synthesized by using the three-step acetaldehyde method.

Maintenance of river mouths and harbors, coupled with environmental impacts of rising sea levels on ocean beaches, has led to management strategies that direct sediment supply to impacted areas. Judicious "beneficial" placement of sediment requires limiting negative impacts to critical species. The effects of one such strategy, "thin-layer deposition", was investigated on its impact on Dungeness crab (Cancer [Metacarcinus] magister), a prized fishery species, at the mouth of the Columbia River, USA.
