Article Abstract
We report on a 58-year-old female patient with renal cell carcinoma simulating transitional cell carcinoma on computed tomography. The computed tomography scan showed an enhancing 2.5-cm left renal pelvic mass without renal parenchymal mass. Urinalysis revealed microscopic hematuria. Cystoscopy and urine cytology was negative for transitional cell carcinoma. Laparoscopic nephroureterectomy was done under the preoperative diagnosis of localized transitional cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis according to the computed tomography findings. The histologic result, however, was a clear cell renal cell carcinoma.

While the cancer genome is well-studied, the nongenetic exposome of cancer remains elusive, particularly for regionally prevalent cancers with poor prognosis. Here, by employing a combined knowledge- and data-driven strategy, we profile the chemical exposome of plasma from 53 healthy controls, 14 esophagitis and 101 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients, and 46 esophageal tissues across 12 Chinese provinces, integrating inorganic, endogenous, and exogenous chemicals. We first show that components of the ESCC chemical exposome mediate the relationship between ESCC-related dietary/lifestyle factors and clinic health status indicators.

Background: Belzutifan is a HIF-2ɑ inhibitor approved for the treatment of tumors in von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) syndrome and sporadic metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (spRCC) in the refractory setting. The efficacy and side effects of belzutifan are well-documented from clinical trials, however, real-world data examining the incidence and management of adverse events (AEs) are lacking. Background: Alcohol consumption is a risk factor for certain cancers and is increasing in the United States. We estimated the impact of alcohol consumption on cancer incidence trends in the United States from 2008-2019 across six alcohol-related cancers among men and women.
Methods: Average daily alcohol consumption (ADC) was calculated from the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS, 1998-2009) and adjusted to per capita sales data to account for underreporting alcohol use.

This study aims to assess and evaluate the hormonal receptor status and lymph node involvement among female breast cancer patients in Duhok city, Kurdistan region, Iraq. A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted, involving 156 diagnosed cases of breast cancer who had undergone surgical treatment and laboratory investigations at Azadi Teaching Hospital and Duhok Private Hospital for 30 months.
