Objectives: To analyze the differences in the prognosis of gastric signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) among different races using the US Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database.

Methods: We analyzed the data of patients with gastric SRCC from the SEER database from 2000 to 2020, and divided the patients into cohorts of whites, blacks, Asians or Pacific Islanders, American Indians/Alaska Natives according to their race. The prognosis and treatment of the cohorts were evaluated using baseline demographic analysis, Kamplan-Meier survival curve, and nomogram analysis.

Background: Allopurinol, the most prescribed urate-lowering drug, is a known cause of severe cutaneous adverse reactions. We aimed to develop and validate a model to assess the risk of allopurinol-induced severe cutaneous adverse reactions in adults newly prescribed allopurinol.

Methods: In this retrospective new-user cohort study, we developed and validated a prognostic model using primary care, hospitalisation, and mortality data extracted from the UK Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) primary care database, for the period Jan 1, 2001, to March 29, 2021.

Study Question: Can patient age and ovarian reserve tests predict the number of cryopreserved oocytes in patients undergoing one or more ovarian stimulation cycles for elective oocyte cryopreservation (EOC)?

Summary Answer: A predictive model incorporating patient age, antral follicle count (AFC), anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), and FSH levels achieved the greatest predictive accuracy.

What Is Known Already: As a consequence of societal evolution, women are increasingly delaying starting a family. However, the natural decline in ovarian reserve and oocyte quality as age advances can increase the risk of age-related fertility decline (ARFD) and involuntary childlessness.

Influenza vaccination coverage assessments by race and ethnicity can identify populations less protected from influenza morbidity and mortality and help focus vaccination efforts. Across eight Vaccine Safety Datalink health systems, we identified influenza vaccines administered from August 1 through March 31 each season from 2017 to 18 through 2022-23 using electronic health records linked to immunization registries. We calculated crude vaccination coverage for each season among people in five age groups (6 months-8 years, 9-17, 18-49, 50-64, and ≥ 65 years) by self-reported race and ethnicity.
