In a study to evaluate a collaborative police and social service intervention, researchers asked police officers to recruit intimate partner violence victims at the scene of domestic violence incidents. This article reviews the process of building successful partnerships with police departments as well as the strategies developed with collaborating police departments to create successful recruitment methods and enhance officer and department engagement with recruitment procedures. Over a period of 298 days, 800 victims were referred to the research study. Of these referrals, we were unable to contact 41.3%; of those contacted (n = 471), we conducted interviews with 67.73%.

Turnover among police officers poses a serious challenge to law enforcement agencies by affecting operational stability and public trust. While organizational culture and job satisfaction are key factors influencing turnover intention, their combined effects have not been widely studied in policing contexts. This study explores whether job satisfaction moderates the relationship between organizational culture and turnover intention among Malaysian police officers.

Radios are essential for the operations of modern police departments, and they function as both a collaborative communication technology and a sociotechnical system. However, little prior research has examined their usage or their connections to individual privacy and the role of race in policing, two growing topics of concern in the US. As a case study, we examine the Chicago Police Department's (CPD's) use of broadcast police communications (BPC) to coordinate the activity of law enforcement officers (LEOs) in the city.

Objective: To assess the characteristics of all people reporting sexual assault at the obstetrics and gynaecology emergency departments of Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and Lausanne University Hospitals (CHUV) between 2018 and 2021.
Methods: Retrospective analysis of medicolegal reports for all people reporting sexual assault at the obstetrics and gynaecology emergency departments of HUG and CHUV between 2018 and 2021. Included: cisgender women, non-binary, queer persons, transgender men with a vulva and vagina and transgender women, regardless of sexual orientation, aged at least 14 years old.
