Based on the well known biological versatility of the imidazoline nucleus, we prepared the novel derivatives 3a-k inspired by 2-BFI scaffold to assess imidazoline molecules as D(2)-like dopamine receptor ligands. Conservative chemical modifications of the lead structure, such as the introduction of an hydroxy group in the aromatic ring alone or associated with N-benzyl substitution, provided partial (3f) or nearly full (3e and 3h) agonists, all endowed with D(2)-like potency comparable to that of dopamine.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the radiological-functional outcomes and rotator cuff (RC) status following humeral intramedullary nailing (IMN), comparing the anterolateral standard approach (group 1) and the percutaneous antero-acromial approach (group 2).
Methods: This observational prospective monocentric study was conducted from August 2021 to March 2023. Inclusion criteria included: two-parts proximal (surgical neck) and diaphyseal Humeral fractures treated with IMN; 12-month follow-up; age between 18 and 85 years; good performance status (excluding neurologic deficits or mental disorders).

This study investigated hybrid volumetric-modulated arc therapy (H-VMAT) for the treatment of nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by classifying patients based on the tumor location (left or right and upper, middle or low) and planning target volume (PTV) (less than average or greater than average) to determine the optimal VMAT dose ratio by dividing the prescription dose used for H-VMAT planning. The following treatment plans comprising four-field conformal irradiation were created for 51 patients with NSCLC: VMAT with one full arc (f-VMAT); VMAT with two partial arcs (p-VMAT); and hybrid plans. Hybrid plans comprised a combination of f-VMAT and three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT; fH-VAMT) as well as a combination of p-VMAT and 3D-CRT (pH-VMAT).
