Importance: Effective and well-tolerated pharmacotherapies for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), which is one of the most common psychiatric disorders, are needed.
Objective: To determine the dose-response relationship of MM120 (lysergide D-tartrate) in adults with moderate to severe GAD.
Design, Settings, And Participants: This phase 2b, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study enrolled 198 adults aged 18 to 74 years with a primary GAD diagnosis who presented with moderate to severe symptoms (defined by a Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale [HAM-A] score ≥20) and was conducted at 22 outpatient psychiatric research sites in the US from August 2022 to August 2023.

Antipsychotic polypharmacy (APP) remains common in the treatment of schizophrenia despite increased risk of adverse events and limited evidence of additional efficacy compared to antipsychotic monotherapy (APM). We conducted a nationwide, register-based cohort study to characterize APP among patients with schizophrenia in Denmark, 1997-2021. Patients were followed from year 3 after the schizophrenia diagnosis and onwards.

The PERMIT Extension study is the largest pooled analysis of perampanel (PER) clinical practice data to date. A post-hoc analysis of PERMIT Extension assessed the effectiveness and tolerability of PER with different concomitant antiseizure medication (ASM) regimens. Effectiveness was assessed by evaluating responder and seizure freedom rates at the last observation for each participant ('last visit'), and tolerability was assessed by evaluating adverse events.

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are promising sorbents for the capture and separation of noble gases from off-gases at nuclear reprocessing sites and nuclear waste repositories. However, little is known about the degradation mechanism of MOFs under ionizing radiation. Herein, CuBTC was exposed to high doses of Co gamma irradiation, between 1 and 5 MGy, and characterized, to elucidate the impact of radiation.

Accurate evaluation of the thermal conductivity of UO with defects is very significant for optimizing fuel performance and enhancing the safety design of reactors. We employed a method that combines the Boltzmann transport equation with DFT+U to calculate the thermal conductivity of UO containing fission products and irradiation-induced point defects. Our investigation reveals that the thermal conductivity of UO is influenced by defect concentration, defect type, and temperature.
