Article Abstract

alpha,beta-Unsaturated nitroalkenes are readily reduced to the corresponding aldoximes and ketoximes in good yields, using a system of decaborane (B10H14) and DMSO in methanol in the presence of 10% Pd/C at room temperature under nitrogen.

Natural products exhibit a wide range of biological activities and are the crucial resources for drug development and compound modification. Cytochrome P450 enzymes (P450s, CYP) are a class of multifunctional and stereoselective biocatalysts that utilize heme as a cofactor and can be employed in the biosynthesis of natural products. With the development of biotechnology, P450s have been widely applied in the synthesis of natural products.

Tellurium-Nitrogen-Carbon Support Boosting Platinum Catalysis in High-Efficiency Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells.

Angew Chem Int Ed Engl

State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing, Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, 430070, China.

Enhancing the energy conversion efficiency of fuel cells necessitates optimization of oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) under high-voltage conditions through improved Pt catalysis. This study introduces an electrocatalyst that uniformly anchors a high loading (40 wt%) of small Pt nanoparticles (3.2 nm) on a novel support: tellurium and nitrogen co-mediated graphitized mesoporous carbon (Te-N-GMC).

Casein kinase 1 (CK1) family members are crucial for ER-Golgi trafficking, calcium signalling, DNA repair, transfer RNA (tRNA) modifications, and circadian rhythmicity. Whether and how substrate interactions and kinase autophosphorylation contribute to CK1 plasticity remains largely unknown. Here, we undertake a comprehensive phylogenetic, cellular, and molecular characterization of budding yeast CK1 Hrr25 and identify human CK1 epsilon (CK1ϵ) as its ortholog.

Interface-engineered CoN-WN heterostructure catalyst with synergistic dual-site hydrogen bonding and electronic modulation for efficient 5-hydroxymethylfurfural electrooxidation.

J Colloid Interface Sci

September 2025

Guangxi Key Laboratory of Electrochemical Energy Materials, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Guangxi University, 100 Daxue Road, Nanning 530004, China. Electronic address:

The 5-hydroxymethylfurfural electrooxidation reaction (HMFOR) stands out due to the value-added production and mild conditions. However, its catalytic efficiency is hampered by sluggish kinetics. Herein, with a focus on optimizing the adsorption and activation of reaction molecules, a CoN-WN heterostructure catalyst is constructed for efficient HMFOR.
