- A new twelve-channel local-area-network (LAN) wavelength-division multiplexing (LWDM) filter has been successfully developed using lithium-niobate-on-insulator (LNOI) photonic waveguides with a channel spacing of 4.5 nm in the O-band (1270-1330 nm).
- The LWDM filter includes twelve single-channel bandpass filters utilizing multimode waveguide gratings with a TE/TE mode (de)multiplexer, featuring two stages of MWGs for improved performance.
