Role of super-enhancer-associated miRNAs and histone modifications in intramuscular fat deposition in yak.

Intramuscular fat (IMF) content is a crucial factor in determining meat quality, yet yak meat is typically characterized by low IMF levels. The epigenetic mechanisms underlying IMF deposition, particularly the role of super-enhancers (SEs), remain poorly understood. RNA-seq identified 66 differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs and 56 DE pri-miRNAs in yak longissimus dorsi with varying IMF contents.

A review of original articles published in the emerging field of radiomics.

Purpose: To determine the characteristics of and trends in research in the emerging field of radiomics through bibliometric and hotspot analyses of relevant original articles published between 2013 and 2018.

Methods: We evaluated 553 original articles concerning radiomics, published in a total of 61 peer-reviewed journals between 2013 and 2018. The following information was retrieved for each article: radiological subspecialty, imaging technique(s), machine learning technique(s), sample size, study setting and design, statistical result(s), study purpose, software used for feature calculation, funding declarations, author number, first author's affiliation, study origin, and journal name.

[Effects of grazing disturbance on soil active organic carbon in mountain forest-arid valley ecotone in the upper reaches of Minjiang River].

Effects of grazing disturbance on the soil carbon contents and active components in the four vegetations, i.e., artificial Robinia pseudoacacia plantation, artificial poplar plantation, Berberis aggregate shrubland and grassland, were studied in the mountain forest-arid valley ecotone in the upper Minjiang River.
