Background: Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) are associated with lymph node metastasis and prognosis in breast cancer. Therefore, we explored the value of TILs in predicting sentinel lymph node metastasis (SLNM) in patients with early-stage (cT1-2N0) breast cancer and provided a new method for preoperative assessment of SLNM status.

Methods: This study included 337 patients with early-stage breast cancer who underwent surgery at our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023.

  • A rare combination of Branchial Cleft Cyst (BCC) and Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma (PTC) can lead to serious health issues, especially if doctors don't look closely enough at neck masses in older patients.
  • A 48-year-old man had surgery for a neck mass and tests showed he had both a BCC and metastatic PTC, meaning the cancer spread to his neck.
  • The situation shows that these types of cancers can be very dangerous together, so doctors need to work together to take good care of patients.
