Ceramic materials are usually hard but brittle, and it is challenging to achieve a simultaneous enhancement of strength and plasticity using conventional strengthening methods. In ceramic materials with similar atomic size and properties, the fabrication of nanotwins is a promising approach to enhance the plasticity, but it is unknown whether the strategy works for transition metal nitrides. Herein, nanotwinned CrN (NT-CrN) with a twin density of 9.

With the rapid progress of industrialization, the incidence of peripheral nerve injuries caused by trauma has been continuously increasing. These injuries result in a significant number of disabilities and irreversible functional impairments, not only severely impacting the health and quality of life of patients but also placing a heavy economic burden on families and society. Effectively promoting peripheral nerve regeneration has thus become a key focus and challenge in current research.

This paper proposes a residual-based multipeaks adaptive sampling (RMAS) algorithm, which can reduce the demand for a large number of samples in the identification of stochastic dynamical systems. Compared to classical residual-based sampling algorithms, the RMAS algorithm achieves higher system identification accuracy without relying on any hyperparameters.
