To investigate the distribution characteristics of radioactive nuclides in the soil of typical karst Tiankeng areas, two soil core samples and thirty surface soil samples were collected from the Leye Tiankeng Group, northwest Guangxi province in China. The soil's vertical distribution of U, Th, Ra, and K is uniform. Furthermore, the distribution trends of U, Th, and Ra in the surface soil are similar.

With the development of green chemistry, it is still a challenge to maintain the unstable valence state of the metal in heterogeneous catalysts and realize new catalytic synthesis methods. In this paper, it is reported that an univalent copper nanocomposite (Cu@Al/SBA-15) can efficiently catalyze the formation of novel amino-containing benzotriazoles with great fluorescence properties in a new synthetic strategy. Subsequently, its application is further verified by an acylation reaction to produce a series of novel benzotriazoles derivatives with high yield.

Indoor utilization of emerging photovoltaics is promising; however, efficiency characterization under room lighting is challenging. We report the first round-robin interlaboratory study of performance measurement for dye-sensitized photovoltaics (cells and mini-modules) and one silicon solar cell under a fluorescent dim light. Among 15 research groups, the relative deviation in power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the samples reaches an unprecedented 152%.
