CircRNAs are crucial regulators of angiogenesis, but their role in advanced lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) angiogenesis remains unclear. In this study, we found that circFOXK2 expression was significantly reduced in advanced LUAD tissues with high angiogenic activity, which correlated with poor clinical outcomes. Reduced circFOXK2 expression upregulates the oncogenic miR-1275 in tumor cells, which is then encapsulated into exosomes.

Methods: A retrospective study enrolled NSCLC patients who underwent tissue EGFR mutation testing at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from 2012 to 2017. City scale was categorized according to classifications made by the State Council of China in 2014.

However, the functional and mechanistic aspects of CDO1 inactivation in BC are poorly understood, and the diagnostic significance of serum CDO1 methylation remains unclear.
Methods: We performed bioinformatics analysis of publicly available databases and employed MassARRAY EpiTYPER methylation sequencing technology to identify differentially methylated sites in the CDO1 promoter of BC tissues compared to normal adjacent tissues (NATs).

View Article and Find Full Text PDFTo evaluate the frequency and clinicopathological features of ROS1 and RET rearrangements in N2 node positive stage IIIA (IIIA-N2) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients, we retrospectively screened 204 cases with a tissue microarray (TMA) panel by fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH), and confirmed by direct sequencing and immunohistochemistry (IHC). The relationship between ROS1 or RET rearrangements, clinicopathological features, and prognostic factors were analyzed in resected stage IIIA-N2 NSCLC. Of the 204 cases, 4 cases were confirmed with ROS1 rearrangement, but no RET rearrangement was detected.
